Interesting numbers but I don't think a church institution like a hospital or school is obligated to pay tithe. The people that work in those places should be paying tithe but at least in S.D.A. hospitals in the U.S.A., many of the employees are not Seventh-day Adventists and will not be paying tithe. I quit paying to the 13th Sabbath offering years ago when I learned it was going to Loma Linda University. Since then I've seen Loma Linda University and Andrews University the recipients of those funds. In my opinion, institutions that get good money for the services they offer should not be draining off tithe and offering money. The unbiblical ordination of female ministers also needs to stop, If your numbers are correct, the husband/wife ministerial team that was at the church I used to attend was bringing in over $200,000 per year and I didn't see many encouraging results from their labor. On one side you have a volunteer pastor and or a head Elder that makes minimum wage in a full time job and still takes care of his church, Job and family and some how delivers an amazing sermon. On the other side we have a pastor that gets paid $40 to $58 an hr from the conference to pastor the church full time. He has so much time and he still has a watered down message. I also know some pastors that neglect their churches because they are going to school to receive their masters degree while also getting paid to pastor. Once they receive their masters degree that's when they leave the flock that they were called to lead for more money. They have made a pastors position a career and not a sacred duty. And now the NAD wants to hire 2000 woman pastors when we still have over 140,000 churches without a paid pastor. This is the straight testimony
